GreenPeak DEA provides domestic energy assessments, Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs), and floor plan services. In the course of delivering our services, we collect and process the following personal data:
Personal Identification Information: Name, phone number, email address, and billing address.
Property Details: Address and relevant information about the property assessed.
Photographic Evidence: Internal and external property photographs for evidential and assessment purposes.
Energy Usage Data: Information regarding the property’s energy consumption and efficiency.
Additional Data: Where required, further information necessary for comprehensive assessment and compliance with legal requirements.
We also collect data necessary for the production and lodgement of EPCs, which is processed using secure third-party accreditation scheme software.
Enquiry Sources: We receive information directly from you through our website, phone or email, and from enquiry services such as Local Surveyors Direct when you ask them to find an assessor. Information supplied by an enquiry service may include your name, contact details, postcode, property requirements and enquiry date.
Communication Records: We may record your requested contact method, the wording and time of an SMS request or consent, the price provided, message reference, send time and delivery result. Booking references may help us understand whether an enquiry led to a booking.
3 Website and Cookies
Our website is hosted by Wix, which may collect personal data in line with their privacy policy. This includes:

4 Use of Data

Assessment Services: Conducting energy assessments, producing EPCs, and creating floor plans.
Client Communication: Responding to enquiries, providing prices, managing bookings and communicating about the services you request.

Quality Assurance: Ensuring assessment accuracy and service quality.
Requested Price Text: If you select "Text me my EPC price", we use your mobile number and property information to send one requested SMS containing your EPC price and a booking link. This request does not sign you up to an ongoing SMS reminder or marketing sequence.
Contact Preferences: Providing a phone number, including through an enquiry service, does not by itself sign you up to SMS marketing. We send marketing texts only where the applicable electronic marketing rules permit it. You can ask us to stop optional texts using the contact details below. Booking and service information may still be needed to fulfil an existing booking.
Local Surveyors Direct enquiries: When you make an EPC enquiry through Local Surveyors Direct, we receive the contact and property details supplied with that enquiry. Where your request and the applicable communication rules permit a text response, we may send one EPC estimate and a link to check availability and book. This does not subscribe you to an ongoing text marketing sequence. We use your details to handle your enquiry and any resulting booking, with limited records for delivery checks, duplicate prevention and contact preferences.
Stopping texts or requesting deletion: Email enquiries@greenpeakdea.co.uk or call 07763 503054 to ask us to stop optional texts or delete your enquiry data. A text sent from a business name may not accept replies; use these contact details instead. We will assess deletion requests under applicable data-protection requirements. Some booking, accounting or EPC records may need to be retained. We retain only the minimum suppression information needed to respect a request not to receive optional texts.
We do not sell, trade, or rent personal data to third parties.
5 Sharing of Data
Your data may be shared in the following circumstances:
Regulatory Bodies: When required by law or to comply with accreditation scheme rules.
Service Providers: We use Wix for our website, enquiry forms and bookings, Google Workspace and Apps Script for business records and enquiry automation, and accreditation scheme software for EPC production and lodgement. When sending an authorised SMS, we use The SMS Works and the telecommunications providers involved in delivery. The data needed for SMS delivery includes your mobile number, message content and a reference used to reconcile the delivery result.
We limit information shared with service providers to what is needed for the relevant task and use applicable data-processing terms. Where a provider processes personal data outside the UK, applicable UK data-protection transfer safeguards are required. You can contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data.

We keep the minimum suppression information needed to respect a request not to receive optional texts.
